THE ART OF FRAMING

TO FRAME OR NOT TO FRAME

A picture might be worth a thousand words but the picture frame that holds it will only enhance that message. For every portrait that you display on your wall there is a frame to hold it. The right frame will only flatter the picture and the home it is in. Don't believe me? Ask my buddy George "Buddy" Murphy. He lives and breathe frames.

Buddy suggest when you receive your portrait you should consider getting it framed as soon as possible. Framing will prevent any damage and fading to your most precious memory of you and your loved one.

If you don't have knowledge about framing (which is common), bring your portrait to a professional framer. Of course it is hard to know the difference between a good or bad framer, but the choice is made by you. Good framers are accurate, they know about composition, colors, and they should be able to give you good advice and answers about any type of frames and/or matting.

Finally, you will be able to judge the framers work by the quality he provides. Excellent framers like my good friend "Buddy" has a range of mounts and frames available. Give him a call and choose a frame that suits your portrait and home according to your personal taste.
